Consolidation

At the end, students are asked to summarize the notes from the forum and select what they view to be the best ones, giving reasons at the same time. A reflection exercise sheet is also given out for completion.

Students are typically given more time to collect and report information after the first year.

Example of a summary note from Year 2 of a primary school science class:

  • 從這個單元中,我學會了,植物可以有四種傳播方法包括是風力、水力、自力、 動物傳播。動物傳播方法,有些植物的果實顏色鲜豔、味道可口一,可吸引動物取食,從而把種子傳播開去……
