Identify good questions for inquiry

Questions of particular interest were picked out by each group before the whole class decided whether a question should be discussed further or not on the Knowledge Forum (KF). As this was both the teacher and the students’ first time using KF, criteria for ‘good’ questions had not yet been identified at this stage.

The chosen questions were then put onto the KF and open to the students’ discussion.

The KF notes and discussions were summarized and before the students picked out the ones they thought to be the best and gave reasons for their decision.
