Highlights of design:

  • Students discussed selected end-of-chapter questions on KF.
  • Online resources, books, experiments and simulation model of a roller coaster were provided to stimulate students’ discussion.

Learning outcomes:

  • Students did not show active participation in the discussion in class and on KF.

Hidy selected the topic “Energy transformation and energy conservation” for her class of Secondary 1 students. As a beginner, Hidy only used Knowledge Forum (KF) as an additional medium for students to learn important scientific concepts in a more interesting way.
